Yolanda Georgiou is an official translator with a dedicated focus on medical translation, a professional interpreter, and a health empowerment coach based in Greece.
She works with English-speaking individuals who need reliable, confidential language support at every stage of their healthcare experience — from translating medical documents to interpreting at specialist appointments.
With over 20 years of translation experience across multiple specialisations, a Bachelor’s degree in Translation from the Ionian University, a Master’s degree in Conference Interpreting from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, EU accreditation as a conference interpreter for European institutions, and a 2025 Medical Interpreter Certificate from MITS, she brings the linguistic expertise and professional discretion that medical communication requires.
Her ICF-standard coach training informs the quality of all her language work — deepening her attentiveness to what clients are experiencing, what they find difficult to express, and what is genuinely at stake for them within their healthcare experience. This understanding is also available as a dedicated coaching service for clients who want a confidential space to think clearly through a significant health experience.
